I was mad I didn’t. I took a Saturday to go to my quiet chill spot outside and read the book. Brooklyn writer Yanika Nicholas gripped my attention from start to finish. I read the book in a couple of hours because I could not put it down.
If you are looking for a sugar coated book then this is not for you. Yanika breaks down the real deal Holyfield. This book is different from any other dating advice books I’ve ever read. It concentrates on presenting to you how to love yourself first. Confidence is sexy; love your body love yourself. I learned a lot. Now I’m a very outgoing person but when it comes to talking to men I have no game. I freeze up and giggle when I’m nervous I have missed many moments lol. One time I asked a guy did he have any grey poupon because I froze. Who does that smh? After reading this I feel like it’s on lol. What I liked most about this book is that she shows you how to move beyond the rules. I purchased two more for some upcoming cousin birthdays.
