A couple months ago Monif C posted a picture of Annagjid. I went to her page and noticed two things. She dresses her butt off and she is a fantastic hairstylist. She knows how to rock her curves from jeans to dresses she slays. Her resume is remarkable styling for film, TV, weddings, photo shoots, products and print. Most notably, my work has been featured by Sleek hair tools, InStyle Magazine and New York Fashion Week.

How would you describe your style?

I would say that my style is pretty much whatever I’m feeling like that day. Sometimes I feel like a rock star and sometimes I feel like a baby doll! It all depends on my mood!

Out of all of the trends going on right now which one is your favorite?

I would have to say army fatigues! I think that it just goes with everything! I also love that it can be dressed up or down!

What fashion tip do you have for the season?

Don’t be so safe all the time! It’s ok to play with styles and colors. Also, it’s absolutely ok NOT to match! Sunglasses are the BEST (except at night…I HATE sunglasses at night) at the end of the day, just wear whatever YOU want!

Who is your greatest fashion influence?

I know it sounds cliché but Rihanna, JLo and Kim K. are so fabulous! Also Solange is so fashionable! I love all of their styles!

Who are you favorite emerging designers and what do you love about them?

Right now my favorite designer is Monif C! She always gets it right! I can always depend on her to have something fabulous for any of my major events! Other than that I love to mix and match all kind of different designers. I love Forever21, H&M and Urban Outfitters! Also I am in love with LaToia Michelle and Michael Marie but they don’t carry plus just yet (hint hint)
