I wanted to show you how I casually wear Nike Air Maxes.
This week has felt so long. When I came home today, I kicked off my pumps, traded in my suit for jeans, and is giving my work attire a weekend break. I’m taking my daughter out of town and been dreaming of my off-duty wardrobe. I have a collection of oversized sweaters, denim, and sneakers for days. The first look is paired with Supreme x Nike Air Max 98 released in 2016. The sneaker features a metallic silver mesh upper with reflective piping and sail snakeskin overlays. The crazy thing is they retailed at $160, and today the resell value is $700 – $1500. If you got the two years ago, that is an excellent return on investment.
One the second look I added Nike Air Max Plus 97. A modern-day hybrid, the shoe features the upper of the Air Max 97, finished off with the tooling of the Air Max Plus from 1998. This pair comes in a clean black and white colorway. Sporting a black-based upper and outsole with a half black, half orange Tuned Air unit and white outsole.
