I was always taught that you don’t wear white after Labor Day. I tried to find the origins of this fashion rule but there are just too many conflicting dates and I don’t which one is the correct once. It was some time in the early 20th century. As a plus girl I’ve been breaking so many fashion rules that I swear I need to write a new book. Come on its 2013 and that is one dumb rule. Where whatever color you want. I’m assuming when the rule was written there was no winter white and they never lived in Texas. In the 1920s Coco Chanel wore white all year around. Check out the white pieces you CAN wear after Labor Day.
