In honor of Wutang Wednesday here is my Shaolin Style, I paired the 2016 Air Foamposite One Wu-Tang Optic Yellow with my Nike Mesh Dress. When the Foams first came out in 2016, I wanted them so bad but couldn’t fathom paying $220+ for them. I went to Knoebels (Pennsylvania Amusement Park), and I swear so many people had them on that I was like damn I should have got them. A couple of months ago I looked on resell sneaker site Goat and Flightclub. They are about $400 in my size. I didn’t think they would still command a high price. One day I was in DC and saw sneakers in a Pawn Shop window. I went in to see what they had and bam the Wutang Foams were there in my size. They originally wanted $250, but I talked him down to $160. They are brand new without the box. Felt like a winner to me.
I shop on Nike on time and, I noticed their plus size is getting better options. The loose fit mesh dress drapes your body with generous room to move, and mesh panels exude an air of attitude. You can get it here and here.
