We all heard singer-songwriter Mary Lambert’s beautiful voice when she sang the hook on Macklemore’s “Same Love”. Last week she announced on Instagram that she is starting The Body Love Campaign. It’s a movement of body acceptance and loving yourself. Yesterday she dropped her Body Love video which is part of her campaign. It’s such an inspiring video. No words can describe how powerful this video is. Also plus size model Alex LaRosa is in the video. Shout out to Mary for using diversity in body sizes in her video.
I can relate to this campaign because I once had low self esteem and doubted myself. I wrote about my personal weight struggles last year.
