As much as I love black, when it comes to coats I love any other color but black. In the fall black can be dull and collect way too much dust. Long coats look best in reds, light greys, camel, and light neutral colors. I don’t like my coats slouchy. I tend to buy them oversized so I can wear it many different ways.
Today I rocked this beautiful brick red Faux Suede Maxi Coat from JustFab to work. The compliments were crazy. I like the color on my skin tone. I loved the wrap style and kept the belt low-key for my relaxed fit. Next time I’ll cinge my waist. I plan to get a lot of wear out of this coat.
There are so many ways to freak these style of coats. Chill vibe with tees, jeans, and sneakers. You could go the fashion girl route with a sweater, skirt, and thigh highs. You can do city girl with a fedora and sunglasses. The style possibilities are endless.
