We were invited to White House as part of 2nd White House Instameet in conjunction with the 12th Worldwide InstaMeet. We toured the White House and met with Chief White House Photographer Pete Souza. I also got to meet other super talented photographers, artists, and bloggers. Just pure inspiration. The vibe during the tour was just so exciting.
The White House is filled with so much history, art, and architecture. I was so scared to touch anything. One thing they were serious about is turning off the flash when taking pictures. It can mess up the paintings. Got to remember the White House is also a museum.
I was so hype because I made the White House Instagram and Facebook page. I had no idea what to wear. I knew I didn’t want to wear anything tight to be respectful but I wanted to be edgy. I knew there would be a lot of walking so I went for flats.
I already had a dress from Lane Bryant I was going to wear but I hit the store the day before and changed my mind after talking to the store manger Caroline. She told me the striped dress was the one to get. She was so right one of my best purchases.
